Marathon County Sheriff Announces Promotion of Lieutenant to Patrol Captain

Marathon County Sheriff Chad Billeb is pleased to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Tim Burkholder to the rank of Patrol Captain. 

Lieutenant Burkholder began his career with the Marathon County Sheriff's Office more than 24 years ago.  In his time with the Sheriff's Office he has served in a number of different capacities, most recently overseeing the Courthouse Security team.

Prior to his service with the Sheriff's Office, Lieutenant Burkholder served as a police officer with the Milwaukee Police Department. Lieutenant Burkholder's experience and the many relationships he has fostered over the years will inevitably help him be successful in his new role.
