Marathon County Sheriff's Department K9 Units Participate in Jessiffany Canine Seminar and Certification

This past weekend K-9 Thor, K-9 Hero, and K-9 Ace with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department participated in the 5th Annual Jessiffany Canine Seminar and Certification.

Nearly 50 K-9 teams from across the state attended the seminar and competed in various events.  K-9 teams tested their knowledge, skills and ability in events ranging from detection, tracking, handler protection, obedience, an obstacle course and many more.

Deputy Hessil and K-9 Ace were awarded 3rd Place in the Obstacle Course.
