Taylor Man Arrested in Jackson County for 5th OWI Appears in Court

A Taylor man arrested in Jackson County for operating while intoxicated after speeding on a Jackson County Highway appeared in Jackson County Court.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, in December of last year, Jason Twieg was pulled over for speeding on Highway 95 in the Town of Curran. He was traveling over 100mph. The deputy noticed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test, which Twieg failed.
Twieg is facing charges of 5th OWI, 5th operating with a PAC, and two counts of bail jumping. During his arraignment, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court on June 5th.
