Local Students Receive FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative Scholarships

Seventeen students will receive a total of $18,000 in scholarships from FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative this year.

2023 marks the eleventh year the cooperative has been providing scholarships, for a grand total of 241 recipients totaling $226,000. Some local recipients include Delaney Becker of Auburndale, Rachel Boehlke of Thorp, Brooke Rudolph of Medford, and Bruce Thiel of Auburndale.

Scholarship recipients were selected based on leadership activities, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, essay responses and their future plans and career goals.

All members of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative and their children attending four-year universities, two-year technical programs or short courses and high school seniors planning for postsecondary education were eligible to apply for the scholarships.
