Statewide Tornado Drill Rescheduled for Friday

(Bob Hague, WRN) Wisconsin's statewide tornado drill, originally scheduled for today/Thursday, has been postponed until Friday.

That’s due to the possibility of severe weather, according to a news release from Wisconsin Emergency Management. The decision was made to avoid any confusion if severe weather affects the state on Thursday. The drill is now planned at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Friday.

Organizations, schools and businesses that want to continue their individual drills on Thursday are welcome to do so, and if severe weather is in the forecast on Friday, this year's drill will be canceled.
