Marshfield Police Department Arrests Three After Short Pursuit

The Marshfield Police Department arrested three people after a short chase and foot pursuit.

On Tuesday, April 11th, around 9:30am, the Marshfield Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of S. Chestnut Ave. After a short pursuit the vehicle stopped in the 100 Block of W. 9th St. A passenger fled on foot and was apprehended several minutes later. Charges are being requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office on a 21-year-old Stevens Point woman for felony fleeing.

Charges are also being sought on a 20-year-old Greenwood man for resisting, possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC. A 3rd passenger, a 44-year-old Marshfield man, was apprehended for a probation hold and a warrant. All three individuals were transported to the Wood County Jail.
