Owen-Withee Police Department Arrests Man for Disorderly Conduct
Monday, April 10th, 2023 -- 2:00 PM
On Sunday, April 2nd, at approximately 6:50 PM, the Owen-Withee Police Department responded to the 500 block of E. 2nd Street, in the City of Owen, in reference to a verbal disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers met with (2) two individuals, one of which was identified as 44-year-old Clayton D. Bliss. After further investigation, it was learned that another disturbance between the same two individuals had occurred the night before.
Based on the information gathered about the incident that occurred the night before, Clayton was taken into custody and transported to the Clark County jail in the City of Neillsville, where he was booked on a number of charges.
On Monday, April 3, 2023, at approximately 1:00 PM, Clayton appeared in court, where he was charged with §947.01(1) Domestic Disorderly Conduct (Misd. B). Clayton was later released on a $650.00 signature bond and is set to appear on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 9:00 AM for his initial appearance.
