(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Stevens Point man accused of a home invasion has changed his plea.
Elier Bravo entered a guilty plea for two counts of attempted homicide on Friday in connection with a home invasion last December. Bravo broke into the home and stabbed a woman and her daughter, both of whom had to be hospitalized.
Footage from a video doorbell system showed Bravo leaving the home with blood on his clothing, the woman had recently installed that system because she suspected that someone had been breaking into the home while she was away.
The 20-year-old previously pled not guilty to the charges, and now faces a mandatory life sentence during a hearing in late July.
