Marshfield Area United Way Announces More Award Winners

The Marshfield Area United Way has announced some more award winners.

They are pleased to present Childrens of Wisconsin and Washington Elementary with the 2022 Small Business Participation Award.  They obtained 100% participation in their campaign. They presented Marshfield Utilities with the 2022 Small Business Campaign of the Year.

Marshfield Utilities held creative events including a crockpot cookoff and a chia pet growing contest. They also presented Kurt Doescher of Roehl Transport with the 2022 Employee Campaign Coordinator of the Year.

Kurt had this to say about receiving the award, “I am incredibly proud of our caring and giving employee base which is the only reason our campaign was successful.  I am so grateful to work for an organization that supports the Marshfield Area United Way as fully as Roehl Transport Inc. does."

"I am truly humbled to receive the award for Employee Campaign Coordinator of the Year.  The award is directly contributable to the incredible United Way committee that we put together here at Roehl Transport.  With the hard work of the committee, and most importantly the employees, we had a record year, and we are hopeful that we can eclipse that record again in 2023!”

United Way said Kurt’s dedication to volunteering, leadership, and giving back to the community is truly inspiring. They truly appreciate his dedication and hard work in building a strong campaign contributing to their mission of making a difference in their communities.

They thank him for his selfless efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of others. Roehl Transport Inc. was presented with the 2022 Large Business Campaign of the Year. Roehl employees raised over $30,000 just in special event activities.
