Tomah Man Facing Charges of Possession of Child Pornography

A Tomah man is facing charges of possession of child pornography.

According to the Tomah Police Department, on Wednesday, March 1st, a joint law enforcement operation involving the Tomah Police Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation ended with the arrest of 36-year-old John Dockerty on the suspicion of possession of child pornography.

The investigation began with cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Dockerty is already on parole for a 2017 conviction in Monroe County for possession of child pornography and is a lifetime sex offender registrant.

Dockety was booked in the Monroe County Jail and is facing charges of possession of child pornograpy and a probation and parole hold. The Department received assistance from the Tomah Area Ambulance Service and the Monroe County 911 Communications Center.
