Black River Falls Man Sentenced for 6th OWI

A Black River Falls man arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol for his 6th OWI was sentenced in Eau Claire County Court.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, back in January of last year, they stopped a vehicle on I-94 for an equipment violation. The driver, Harold Hill, showed signs of impairment. After a field sobriety test, Hill was arrested.
Hill was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, 6th OWI. Another charge was dismissed and read in and another charge was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.
He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 3 years of extended supervision. His license was also revoked for 36 months and an ignition interlock device must be installed for 36 months.
