Marshfield Area Pet Shelter Receives Grant from American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The Marshfield Area Pet Shelter is excited to announce they have received a $13,000 grant from ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) to support the purchase and installation of their new energy-efficient saloon type exterior dog kennel doors.

The new door style allows them to keep the doors open throughout the winter and summer months so dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor environments, providing comfortable and spacious housing while dogs wait for their forever homes. The old style doors were inefficient and needed to be propped open.

The new saloon type doors, made of heavy duty aluminum, are more energy efficient, easier for dogs to use, easier to clean and provides a window to allow light into the kennels.
