Marathon County Sheriff's Department Releases Name of Man Killed in One-Vehicle Accident in the Town of Halsey

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man killed in a one-vehicle accident.

According to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, they received a report of an accident around 10:17am on Wednesday, February 15th, near the intersection of County Road A and Mason Road in the Town of Halsey. 28-year-old Sebastian Petrie of Rib Mountain was killed in the accident. Another woman was seriously injured in the accident.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Athens Police Department, Athens Fire & EMS, and the Marathon County Medical Examiner’s Office. No other information is being released at this time.
