Marshfield Cub Scout Pack Facing a Shortage After a Ruling From School Board

A Marshfield Cub Scout pack is facing a shortage of scouts after a ruling from the School Board.

Pack 384 in Marshfield used to be able to go into the Marshfield Schools in order to recruit new members. But, the Marshfield School Board banned them from advertising in the school, saying the students would be able to balance the scouts with school sports.

The Scout Master is hoping that word of mouth, some public events, and other methods will allow them to find more members. If you would like your child to join the scouts, more information can be found on the Samoset Council's website.
