Wood County Sheriff's Department Looking for Armed Robbery Suspect

On February 12, 2023 the Wood County Sheriff's Department responded to The Food Tree convenience store located at 1759 Greenfield Avenue in the Township of Rudolph for an armed robbery.

Wood County Dispatch received a call from the store clerk who advised a subject had entered the store with a handgun and demanded lottery tickets, money, and cigarettes. The suspect fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival with an undetermined amount of lottery tickets, money, and cigarettes.

Surveillance video has been obtained from the Food Tree of the incident. A suspect has not yet been identified or located at this time. The Wood County Sheriff's Department believes this was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public at this time.

The suspect was wearing brown shoes, black pants, a camouflage hooded sweatshirt with "PINELAND" written on the front of it, black mask, black and gray gloves, and had a black bag.
