Father of Kenosha Shooting Fatality Sues Rittenhouse, Officers

Friday, February 3rd, 2023 -- 2:01 PM

(Ted Ehlen, WRN) Kyle Rittenhouse will be heading back to court.

U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman rules a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the father of Anthony Huber against Rittenhouse and others can move forward. Huber was shot and killed by Rittenhouse during the August 2020 unrest in Kenosha following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Huber was participating in a protest of the shooting died after he was shot by the then-17-year-old Rittenhouse. Huber's father, who seeks undetermined damages from Kenosha city officials, officers and Rittenhouse himself, claims that Rittenhouse collaborated with law enforcement to harm protestors.
