Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Rib Mountain Closing

(Tom Schumacher, WSAU) Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Rib Mountain is one of over 80 stores slated for closure as the company continues to struggle financially.

The company announced the closure on Tuesday, the same day they said the are in danger of going bankrupt unless they can find a buyer soon. No plans for liquidation sales or hard closing dates have been announced. The Rib Mountain store was the only Wisconsin store listed for closure.

Town Administrator Gayleene Rhoden says she's aware of the news but because the building is privately owned the town won't have much of a role in re purposing the space, though she doesn't expect that it will stay vacant for long.
