Wisconsin's Commodity Prices for December

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The average price received by farmers for corn during December 2022 in Wisconsin was $6.09 per bushel according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
According to Wisconsin Ag Connection, this was 1 cent above the November price and 76 cents above December 2021. The December 2022 average price received by farmers for soybeans, at $14.20 per bushel, was 20 cents above the November price and $1.80 above the December 2021 price.
The December average oat price per bushel, at $5.83, was $1.22 above November and 68 cents above December 2021. All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $157.00 per ton in December.
This was $12.00 below the November price and $7.00 below the December 2021 price. The December 2022 alfalfa hay price, at $168.00, was $15.00 below the previous month and $3.00 below December 2021.
The average price received for other hay during December was $115.00 per ton. This was $1.00 below the November price and $21.00 below December last year.
