Several Thorp High School Band and Choir members were nominated to the Cloverbelt All-Conference Music Festival.

This year's festival was held at Gilman High School on Saturday, January 21st.  The festival consists of the top music students from each of the 16 conference schools.  Students who were nominated by their directors practiced throughout the day and then performed in an evening concert.

The students worked hard during the day but found time to socialize and meet new friends. The THS choir students even adopted the lone Loyal choir member, welcoming her to hang out with the Thorp crew for the day.

The choir clinician was Dr. Frank Watkins, director of Choral Studies at UW - Eau Claire. The band clinician was Dr. Patrick Lawrence, professor of Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba from UW - Stevens Point.

Thorp Choir members Daniel Lechleitner, Daniel Mathison, Delaine Mathison, Charity Pritchard, Payton Rhyner, Jaedyn Stratton, and Steven Williams sang as members of the honor choir.

The Thorp Band students that were nominated were Rachel Boehlke, CJ Fuerstenau, Isabella Haas, Dorian Neisius, Ivan Neisius, and Larissa Raether.
