Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Several Appointments

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments at their meeting.

The Board approved Tom Bobrofsky as the District 19 supervisor to replace Gordon Haselow. The Board also approved Linda Worden and Dean Lindner to the Local Emergency Planning Committee. Finally, the Board approved Brian Bredlau to replace Anthony Ring on the Community Department Board.

The Board also recognized Richard Schleifer for his time as Clark County Coroner and Harold Dillenbeck as the Maintenance Engineer. The Board also heard a presentation on County Board Roles and Responsibilities.

The Board also approved the Clark County Personnel Policies with some minor changes. The policies involve meals and breaks, position descriptions, recruitment and hiring, separation from employment, definitions, Americans with disabilities act, FMLA leave, leave of absence, and emergency closures.

The Board also approved between Clark County and CCI Systems, Inc., which will explore broadband expansion in the county. Finally, the county approved a resolution revising state wind energy regulations as the county doesn’t agree with the current state regulations.
