(Raymond Neupert, WRN) If you use Wisconsin's online library, it's time to upgrade your apps.
If you use Wisconsin's online library, it's time to upgrade your apps. At the end of the month, the company that makes the Overdrive e-book reader is switching entirely to the new Libby app.
Chad Dally with the Marathon County Public Library says the new application better handles new media like movies and TV shows. "It's a different name, but it's basically the second generation of the OverDrive app, and meant to be much more intuitive and user friendly than the OverDrive app was."
Dally with the Marathon County Public Library says they want to ensure that people keep using online resources. "It's a great system. And we want people to be able to access these 10s of 1000s of titles. So we're happy to help get people set up with them and help navigate any way we can."
You can find Libby on both Apple and Google Android devices. It's a free program, and if you want to get started borrowing online items, all you need is a library account.
