Congressional Republicans Want Evers to Ban TikTok from State Devices

(Robin Colbert, WIBA/WRN) Governor Tony Evers is being asked to ban TikTok from from State Government devices.

Making the request, US Senator Ron Johnson, along with Wisconsin's Republican Congressional Delegation. The group calls TikTok nefarious spyware of the Chinese Communist Party that surveils Americans and allows China to censor and control news and content here in the US.

Recently, governors in South Dakota and South Carolina announced such bans. Johnson and the state's GOP House delegation say that it's  irresponsible-at best-for a governor to ignore such risks and promote TikTok through his own use of the app.
