Black River Falls Municipal Utilities Warn of Phone Scam

The Black River Falls Municipal Utilities has received information that a BRFMU customer received a phone call threatening disconnection of services unless the customer agreed to pay the balance due over the phone.

This is a scam, BRFMU does not phone customers and ask for payment over the phone. If you receive a similar call asking you to make a payment over the phone, do not provide any information and hang up immediately.
