Wisconsin Average Gas Prices are Below the National Average
Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 -- 9:01 AM
(Bob Hague, WRN) Most Wisconsin drivers are paying less than the national average for a gallon of gas.
The national average pump price for a gallon of gas dropped 14 cents in the past week to $3.40, .39 cents less than a month ago and 5 cents more than a year ago, according to AAA.
Monday’s statewide average in Wisconsin was even lower, at just over $3 a gallon, but there’s a wide range in prices. Motorists in Ashland and Bayfield Counties are paying $3.41 a gallon. In Juneau County, the average price is $2.95.
