Marshfield Common Council Approves 2023 City Budget

The Marshfield Common Council approved the 2023 budget at their special meeting on Wednesday.

The 2023 adopted budget came to $49,456,506, excluding Marshfield Utilities. The sum of $15,292,260, not including the estimated TID levy) is the amount to be raised by taxation for city purposes.

This will come to a tax rate of $10.61 per one thousand dollars of assessed value. The Council did approve the budget with six voting yes and five voting no.
