Brooks Sentenced for Waukesha Christmas Parade Attack

(Bob Hague, WRN) The convicted Waukesha Christmas Parade attacker will spend the rest of his life in prison.

During Wednesday's sentencing hearing judge Jennifer d'Oro addressed the character of convicted killer Darrell Brooks. “You know, the rules don't matter to you, not the rules of the road, not the rules established by court orders, not the rules even of decorum and decency.”

Not long after that Brooks was removed following a familiar outburst. “Stop right now or you will be removed./Removed me then/All right, he will be removed.”

The outcome of sentencing never in doubt; Brooks will spend the rest of his life in prison for the deaths of six people and injuries to dozens more in last November's SUV attack on the parade route in Waukesha
