Monday, November 14th, 2022 -- 10:01 AM
(Robin Colbert, WRN/WIBA) Turnout was impressive for the midterms in Wisconsin
Nearly 57% of Wisconsin's eligible voters turned out for the midterm election. The Wisconsin Elections Commission says that unofficial numbers show just over 56.7% of eligible voters cast ballots.
That's higher than most previous midterms but not quite as high as in 2018 when midterm turnout hit a record 59.4%. In Dane County, some polling locations in this latest election did see a turnout near 90%.
