Wisconsin's Commodity Prices for September

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The average price received by farmers for corn during September in Wisconsin was $7.12 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that was 17-cents above the August price and $1.30 more than September 2021. Soybeans were $1.60 lower per bushel at $14.10, but rose $2.20 from last year.
Oat prices were $4.53 per bushel, 16-cents lower for the month, but $1.35 higher than last September. All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $144.00 per ton in September. This was $16.00 above the August price, but $5.00 below September 2021.
Alfalfa hay prices averaged $161.00 per ton, about $20.00 above the previous month and $1.00 above a year ago. The average price received for other hay was $96.00 per ton, $2.00 above last month, but off $14.00 from the previous growing season.
