The Highground Holds Successful Fall Bake Sale

On Saturday, October 1, hundreds of guests arrived at The Highground for the last stone ceremonies of 2022 and the annual Fall Bake Sale.

The Highground’s “Sweet Platoon” provided temptations for everyone’s sweet tooth with baked goods ranging from zucchini whoopie pies to the traditional chocolate chip cookies and hot turtle mochas.

The Highground is truly grateful for the dedicated volunteer bakers, the volunteers who worked the bake sale and the awesome guests who made the fundraiser a great success by raising $1,524.  

All proceeds from the annual bake sales (spring and fall) help The Highground to provide extraordinary experiences for Veterans through the flight of the Vietnam Era Huey, Veterans Retreats, Reunions and the recently established PTS Peer Support Group.
