Simplicity Credit Union Recognized with Spirit of Giving Award

Simplicity CU has been recognized with a Spirit of Giving Award for Outstanding Philanthropic Organization by Marshfield Clinic Health System.

The Spirit of Giving Awards ceremony was held for the first time since 2019 on September 26th at the Marshfield Country Club and also featured the presentation of the Legacy of Philanthropy Award to Dr. James Meyer and Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser to “Tees for Kids,” an event hosted by The Samuels Group.

A social media post from Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation highlighting this year’s recipients read, “This special event honored this year's award recipients as well as all the people who have come together to support our mission since the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Simplicity CU has established a tradition of community support through monetary donations and volunteerism. They have sponsored annual Marshfield Clinic Health System events such as Child Life Bash, Mike’s Run, and the CMNH Radiothon and donated $50,000 toward the Marshfield Medical Center – Neillsville.

In his remarks at the event, Simplicity CEO Nick Faber said, “We see in the Marshfield Clinic Health System a kindred spirit that drives us all forward to seek ways to multiply our impact for the good of us all.”
