(Terry Bell, WRN) The man who survived being shot by Kyle Rittenhouse wants to change his name.
Gaige Grosskreutz says he’s received death threats, and wants a new name to protect his family. The request to a Kenosha County judge to legally change his name was supposed to be kept secret, but it leaked online.
Grosskreutz was shot in the arm after he pulled a gun on Rittenhouse during Kenosha’s night of violence in August of 2020. Rittenhouse was cleared of all charges.
