Pet of the Week: Suzie
Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 -- 1:01 PM
Suzie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels south of Black River Falls.
Names: Suzie
Ages: 2-years-old
Breed: Mixed Breed
This week we have a repeat offender as the Pet of the Week! Suzie had been featured last June, but she is still at CCHS waiting to find her new forever family! Suzie had been found as a stray in the Clark County Forest. She's about 2 years old and weighs 52#.
She is a spayed female mixed breed with a short-haired black and white coat. Suzie is very sweet, affectionate and loveable. She's a good girl, although she could use some training on her leash walking. She does well being kenneled overnight.
She will do best as the only pet in her new home as she might chase cats and other small critters. But the best news is that her adoption fee has now been sponsored! That means you can adopt this great girl for a $0 adoption fee! She could be the perfect addition to your family! Adoption applications can be submitted through our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/ applying-to-adopt.
Please join us at Turn Pike Greenhouse for their 3rd annual Pet Walk on Saturday, October 1st, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Enjoy their fabulous corn maze, hay rides, music, games, photo booth, food and drinks.
There will also be a moonlight corn maze from 6 - 9 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per person ages 7 and up. Make some special memories and enjoy the fall season with CCHS and the great folks at Turn Pike Greenhouse!
You can learn more about, and adopt, Suzie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
