Two People Hurt in One Vehicle Accident in Trempealeau County

Two people were hurt in a one vehicle accident in Trempealeau County Sunday morning.

According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred around 2:30am early Sunday morning at the intersection of Durst Road and Oium Road in the Town of Sumner.

The vehicle was traveling south on Durst Road when it failed to slow and take a right turn at the intersection of Oium Road. The vehicle hit a steep upward embankment and flew into a tree line.

29-year-old Denver Thompson of Osseo and 24-year-old Lisa Doyle of Osseo were transported to the hospital with substantial, but non-life threatening injuries. Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
