Wisconsin Parade Attack Defendant's Lawyer Asks to Quit
Monday, September 26th, 2022 -- 2:00 PM
(Terry Bell, WRN) The lawyer for the man accused of causing the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy wants to quit.
Darrell Brooks Junior’s lawyer filed a motion Thursday to withdraw from the case. If the judge grants that motion, it could delay Brooks’ trial, which for now is supposed to begin October 3rd.
Brooks originally planned to plead insanity, but later changed his mind. Brooks faces life in prison for killing six people and injuring 60 others at the parade last year.
