LOYAL, GREENWOOD STUDY COMPLETE
Monday, July 10th, 2006 -- 10:38 AM
The area school picture should become more focused after a meeting tonight.A long-awaited study of the Greenwood and Loyal school districts is complete and will be explained to the public during a meeting tonight in the Loyal High School Gymnasium.
Originally billed as a ?consolidation feasibility study?, officials haven?t used that term recently, but the report is expected to have recommendations to that affect.
The schools are splitting the roughly $15,000 charged by consultant Roger Worner of Minnesota.
After tonight?s meeting, which starts at 7 p.m., the boards of education will appoint a task force to review the report, and possibly make recommendations for action.
Again, that public meeting is tonight at 7 p.m. in the Loyal High School Gymnasium.
