Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Resolution Commemorating Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution commemorating the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center.

As the Center is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year, the Board approved a resolution commemorating the achievement. The Board also approved changes to the coroner’s fees. Cremation and death certificate fees were increased by $25.

The coroner’s per call fee was increased to $140, cremation fee is $150, disinterment fee is $45, paper fee is $15, the coroner will receive $50 for transporting a body with their own vehicle, and the fee for signing a death certificate is $50.

The Board also approved ratifying the collective bargaining agreement for Clark County Public Safety employees. County Public Safety employees will see a wage increase of 7% starting in January of 2023 and 4.5% in January of 2024 and 2025.

The Board also approved ratifying the collective bargaining agreement for Clark County Courthouse employees. They will see a 2% increase in wages beginning in January of 2023.

The Board also approved ratifying the collective bargaining agreement for Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center employees. They will see a 2% wage increase starting in January of 2023.

The Board also approved the 2023 non-union base wage increase. They will see a 2% increase starting in January of 2023. The Board also approved working with Mosaic Technologies to apply for a broadband grant application to expand broadband in the county.

Finally, the board approved having the County Comptroller and the Clark County IT Director to act as representatives for USDA grant applications.
