Waukesha Christmas Parade Memorial Design Chosen

(Terry Bell, WRN) Waukesha has a design for its Christmas Parade memorial.

The choice was made among three finalists Tuesday night at a meeting of the panel in charge of the memorial. It’s called “The Heart of Unity” design, and it features a heart at the center with six ribbons, one for each of the six people killed in the tragedy.

It was designed by Thrive Architects of Waukesha. Now that the design is chosen, the next job is to raise about a-million dollars, and then have the memorial in place in time for the Christmas parade in 2023.
