TAYLOR CO. SHERIFF'S DEP'T: WE'RE NOT RULING OUT ANYTHING

Wednesday, July 5th, 2006 -- 1:01 PM

The Taylor County Sheriff?s Department announced Monday human skeletal remains found on private property north of Medford have been positively identified as a missing Withee man.

But how did 41-year-old Terrance Boushon die?

"We are not eliminating any possibilities at this time," says Bruce Daniels of the Taylor County Sheriff?s Department.

As the investigation is ongoing, authorities aren't releasing much information surrounding the discovery of the remains, but it was found as part of the investigation into Boushon?s disappearance ? as opposed to just a random search, according to Daniels.

The Owen Police Department recently requested the public?s help in finding Boushon. The man was last seen in May of last year and was reported missing in July 2005.

Daniels says he expects the investigation to continue as a joint effort between the Owen P.D., Clark County Sheriff?s Department and the Taylor County Sheriff?s Department.

The body is currently at the State Crime Lab in Madison, and investigators hope a cause of death can be established.
In the meantime, they are asking for the public?s help.

"We're looking for anybody that may have had contact with Mr. Boushon before, or during, the summer of 2005," Daniels says.

If you believe you have information that would contribute to this investigation, you?re asked to contact the Taylor County Sheriff?s Department at 748-2200, or the anonymous tipster line at 1-866-892-7463.
