Wisconsin Health Officials Hope to Boost COVID-19 Booster Shot Demand
Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 -- 9:00 AM
(Terry Bell, WRN) Wisconsin health officials say they’re hopeful the newest COVID-19 booster shots will improve the state’s vaccination numbers.
Almost 62-percent of Wisconsin residents have received the initial coronavirus vaccine series, but only 35 percent have received at least one booster shot. The newest shots rolling out in September are designed to be effective against the latest omicron variants of the virus.
The latest shot will become available soon across Wisconsin.
