Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Hit by a Truck in Jackson County

A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck while on his moped in Jackson County.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident occurred around 7:30pm on Wednesday on County Highway C, near Black River Falls. The moped and truck were both traveling east on C when the moped, driven by a 39-year-old man, turned into his driveway.

The truck, driven by a 41-year-old woman from La Crosse, hit the moped, causing the driver to fall off. The driver of the moped was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening injuries. There were five people in the truck and none of them were hurt.
