Governor Tony Evers Announces $90 Million for K-12 Education in Wisconsin

Gov. Tony Evers announced a $90 million investment into K-12 education across the state as kids, families, educators, staff, and administrators are set to return to school and welcome students back for the upcoming school year in the coming days.
The investment includes $15 million to double the governor’s “Get Kids Ahead” initiative to provide mental health services in K-12 schools across Wisconsin, as well as $75 million designed to give districts flexibility to meet staffing needs, keep classroom sizes small, and provide other direct classroom support.
Some area schools receiving additional per-pupil funding include:

- Greenwood with $35,366,
- Colby with $89,327,
- Owen-Withee with $43,387,
- Thorp with $50,133,
- Abbotsford with $70,003,
- Spencer with $61,800,
- Marshfield with $340,719,
- Stratford with $77,751,
- Black River Falls with $155,137,
- Pittsville with $49,677,
- Augusta with $52,958,
- Osseo-Fairchild with $77,386,
- Stanley-Boyd with $97,804,
- Medford with $189,045,
- Auburndale with $68,180,
- Cadott with $75,016,
- Wisconsin Rapids with $445,450,
