New Bike Shop in Marshfield

(Melissa Siegler, Marshfield News-Herald) -A new bicycle and repair shop has opened on South Central Avenue in Marshfield.
Northside Cycle, 125 S. Central Ave., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday for the new store, which will offer bikes, gear and repairs. The shop sells brands like Pure Cycles, Reid, Sun and Surly.
They can also order mountain bikes, hybrid, city and more, according to the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The store is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Wausau-based nonprofit Healthfirst Network recently celebrated its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The branch opened in 2021, but delayed the opening celebration because of the pandemic.
The organization focuses on providing affordable services related to reproductive health, preventative health and nutrition. It also serves as a resource for victims of sexual and domestic violence.
The Marshfield branch, 104 Northridge St., is open Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
