(Raymond Neupert, WRN) A Racine County man who admits to falsely requesting absentee ballots says he's been subpoenaed.
Harry Wait says he's received a subpoena from the state Department of Justice. Wait used Wisconsin's online absentee ballot system to request absentee ballots for Racine Mayor Cory Mason and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
He claims he did that to show the system is insecure. Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling has declined to file charges and instead is joining Wait's efforts to try and end online absentee ballot requests.
