Clark County Sheriff's Department Welcomes New Detective

Please welcome Detective Chantel Roden to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Detective Roden, from Walton County, Florida, chose the Clark County Sheriff’s Department because she and her family were looking at areas they wanted their son to grow up in.

They found Clark County and, from the first conversation with the Sheriff’s Office, she knew this is where she wanted to be. Everyone was so nice and very accommodating, since she was out of state. She felt like more than just a number.

She said she’s definitely proud to be a part of this agency. Some of her interests and hobbies include spending time with her husband and son. She loves to travel and try new things. She likes to watch movies and play video games, being outdoors, and just hanging out with friends.

She has been in law enforcement for over 7 years. She has been a field training officer for almost 3 of those. She was also the Domestic Violence Investigator for about 7 months in Florida before moving here.

She has numerous training and certificates that have prepared her to be a detective and work with victims. She felt her training and experience would be an asset to the department, especially with sensitive crimes.
