City of Marshfield Looking for Residents Interested in Serving as a Commissioner on Utility Commission

The Municipal Code of the City of Marshfield provides that a five-member Utility Commission is elected by the Common Council.
The Commissioners serve staggered five-year terms. Mayor Lois Te Strake is seeking city residents, but others in the area may be considered based on background and qualifications interested in serving as a commissioner on the Utility Commission.
Please submit a letter to the Office of the Mayor, located in City Hall, 207 W. 6th St., Marshfield WI. 54449, stating his/her qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve on the board. This letter must be received on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The names of the interested persons will be presented to the Common Council at its September 13, 2022 meeting. The Common Council will elect one person to the five-member board at its September 27, 2022 meeting.
