Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville Employees Donate to CLICK for Babies Campaign
Thursday, August 11th, 2022 -- 3:00 PM
Hats off to a group of Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville employees who have been dedicating their free time to knitting caps and booties for the CLICK for Babies™ campaign.
Sue West, Kaysie Schindler and Mary Jane Struensee are working to make as many caps and booties for the cause as they can. Mary Jane shares she’s been contributing to this project for many years, even before she was employed with Neillsville.
From now until September, knitters and crocheters are encouraged to make newborn caps and booties as part of the campaign. They can be dropped off at any Marshfield Clinic Health System location.
They will be distributed to newborn nurseries and in ambulatory care departments across Marshfield Clinic Health System to raise awareness for the Period of PURPLE Crying®. The Period of PURPLE Crying is the stage in a baby’s life when they cry for long periods of time with no obvious reason.
