Wisconsin Left-Leaning Groups Reiterate Opposition to 2024 RNC

(Terry Bell, WRN) Liberal activist groups are going on the record against the Republican National Convention, again.

Voces de la Frontera, the S-E-I-U Wisconsin public employees’ union, and a number of other groups say they’re opposed to Milwaukee leaders agreeing to host the Republican’s 2024 national convention.

They say they oppose acts of racist violence, and fear Milwaukee would be turned into a militarized zone during the convention. The same groups issued a similar statement in June. The Republican leaders chose Milwaukee on Friday.
