Janesville Couple Die in Lightning Strike Near White House

(Raymond Neupert, WRN) An elderly Janesville couple is dead after being struck by lightning near the White House on Thursday.
DC Metro Police say 76-year-old James Mueller and 75-year-old Donna Mueller were taking shelter under a tree during a thunderstorm Thursday evening when it was struck by lighting.
US Park Service and Secret Service agents attempted to help the couple after the strike. Two others were injured in the incident.
