Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 -- 2:00 PM

According to the Clark County Health Department, last week’s beach testing results showed safe levels of e. Coli for designated Clark County beaches.
The beaches tested include Lake Arbutus, Lake Sherwood, Mead Lake, and Rock Dam. All came back safe. However, when participating in water activities, please also be aware of other types of bacteria, such as blue-green algae, that may be present in the water.
The picture included with the story came from Mead Lake in Clark County. For more information on blue-green algae visit: https://bit.ly/3A0jGMF. Water quality information can be found here: https://bit.ly/3BExBZM. Clark County Beaches will be sampled again next Monday, August 8th.
