Nekoosa Man Killed in One-Vehicle Crash in Jackson County

A Nekoosa man was killed after a one-vehicle crash in Jackson County on Friday.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, on Friday, July 29th around 2:03pm, the Jackson Sheriff’s Department received a report that a man was lying in the road on Highway 54 near Panter Road in the Township of City Point. When the Department arrived, they determined that the man, 28-year-old Zachary Ross, had been ejected from the vehicle during a crash.

According to the Department, they believe the vehicle had entered the ditch while traveling westbound on Highway 54. The vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
